12/16/11 - Congratulations to Rachel Hughes for recording a TRIPLE-DOUBLE as the Bartlett Lady Panthers defeated the ECS Lady Eagles, 60-41. Hughes poured in 17 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and had an amazing 13 steals. The game was played at Thomas M. Farley, Jr. Memorial Gymnasium in

05/20-21/2011. The Arlington Tigers and the Germantown Red Devils met in an outstanding game which was the longest high school Baseball game ever to be played in the State of Tennessee, going 18 innings and lasting 5 hours and 9 minutes, beginning on May 20th and concluding after midnight on May 21st. The stage was the 2011 West Tennessee Sub-State/Sectional at Arlington High School in Arlington, Tennessee. The game featured two totally dedicated teams that gave 110% of everything and created a masterpiece that will be talked about forever in Tennessee sports history. The conclusion to this classic was as fitting as the game itself as Senior Bug Cox delivered a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 18th to propel the Tigers to a 4-3 victory and send them to the Tennessee AAA State Tournament in Murfreesboro. 05/18/2011. The Arlington Tigers used a 5 run 6th inning to finish off the Bartlett Panthers Wednesday evening by a score of 10-4 in front of a standing room only crowd in Arlington, Tennessee. The win results in a 2nd straight Region 7-AAA championship for Arlington. Both teams will advance to Friday's Sub-State/Sectional Games. In this young season for the Bartlett Junior Varsity. they played in a Collierville tournament this week during spring break and went 3-2 . Here are there results going into the Houston/ Bartlett tournament next week.

The Bartlett JV welcomed our special guests and good neighbors to the north, the Winnipeg Rookies from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to Scott Elrod
Field this evening for another exciting Baseball matchup. The game was action packed and a real treat for those in attendance. The Panthers came
away with the win, 11-5. The Panther JV squad is now 5-4 on the 2011 season. This game has become an annual tradition and is a highlight of the

03/12/09-# 1 ranked Kamehameha-Kapalama has won the Hawaii D-1 State Basketball Championship, outlasting #2 Kahuku, 47-45. The game was played in front of over 5,200 fans at Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu. In the D-2 State Championship game, it was Kailua over Castle, 53-36. (from KKEA-Honolulu, HI.)
03/13/09-The Kimberly High School Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs from Kimberly, ID have enjoyed a strong start to their Spring Sports season. The Bulldog Baseball team recorded a double header win over Glens Ferry, 5-0 and 5-3, while the Lady Bulldog Softball team also won a double header over Glens Ferry, 35-0 and 15-0. The Bulldog and Lady Bulldog Track teams swept their meets and the Bulldog and Lady Bulldog Golf teams swept their matches. Bulldog Golfer Gage Huft carded a match low 33 to lead the team to victory. 03/13/09-The Boys and Girls Basketball teams from Point Hope, Wainwright, and Barrow will be playing in the Alaska State High School Basketball Tournament next week in Anchorage. (from KBRW-Barrow, AK.)
03/14/09-Woodlawn (30-2) is the 2009 Class A Illinois Boys Basketball State Runner-up. Meridian Macon outlasted Woodlawn 63-53 at Carver Arena in Peoria. 03/14/09-Region 6 Champion Louisville Iroquois has won the Kentucky Sweet 16 Girls High School Basketball Tournament over Region 5 Champion Elizabethtown, 55-47 in overtime. The game was played at Western Kentucky University's Diddle Arena in Bowling Green. The Boys Sweet 16 Tournament will get underway Wednesday, March 18 at Noon from Rupp Arena in Lexington. Div.1-Class A, Clarkrange (38-0) defeated Madison (28-8), 57-31 / Div.1-Class AA, Gibson County (34-0) defeated Livingston Academy (24-13), 54-34 / Div.1-Class AAA, Hillsboro (32-1) defeated Memphis Central (35-2), 62-61 / Div.2-Class A, Bishop Byrne defeated Lausanne, 42-39 / Div.2-Class AA, Knoxville Webb defeated Ensworth, 50-39. 03/16/09-The University of Vermont Women's Basketball team won over Boston University, 74-66 to advance to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2000. The Vermont Men's Basketball team has accepted a bid to play in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI). The Catamounts will play Green Bay in the first round of the tournament on Wednesday at the Resch Center in Green Bay. Other games in the CBI Tournament include: UTEP vs. Nevada, St. Johns vs. Richmond, Charleston vs. Troy, Buffalo vs. Wichita State, Houston vs. Oregon State, and Boise State vs. Stanford. 10/30/09-The Bartlett Panthers claimed a berth in the 2009 Tennessee State 5-A Playoffs with a stunning 28-0 upset victory over the heavily favored Memphis Craigmont Cheifs
Friday evening at Bartlett Panther Stadium in Bartlett, Tennessee. The Panthers were led by Senior Willie Matthews with 210 yards rushing on 39 carries and 3 touchdowns. The Panther defense held the powerful Chief offense to just 83 total yards for the entire game. Willie Matthews, with his outstanding Senior Night performance, becomes the all-time leader in rushing for a single season in the history of Bartlett High School Football. 10/31/09-The Lone Oak Purple Flash in Paducah, Kentucky finished another perfect season, (10-0), their second perfect season in three years, with a 34-0 victory over their cross-town rival, the Heath Pirates. The win also secured for the Purple Flash the McCracken County Championship and they have earned yet another trip to the Kentucky State 4-A Playoffs. Lone Oak, under the leadership of head coach Jack Haskins, has put together a regular season record of 29-1 over the past 3 years and their overall record, including playoff games for the same time period is 34-3, being the Kentucky State 4-A Runner-up in 2007.
